One of the most sacred pilgrimage sites for Hindus, Puri also known as Jagannath Puri, is located in the state of Odisha.
Completing the golden triangle of Odisha along with Konark and Bhubaneshwar, Puri is a large depository of art and architecture of India with the highlight of the town being the Shree Jagannath Puri Temple.


Konark is pilgrim place known mainly for the famous Sun temple. You can also visit the Konark beach when you are here. The ASI museum just outside the SUn temple is also worth visiting. Know more about the places to visit in Konark:


According to Census 2011 information the location code or village code of Udayagiri village is 410223. Udayagiri village is located in Krushna Prasad tehsil of Puri district in Odisha, India. It is situated 34km away from sub-district headquarter Krushna Prasad (tehsildar office) and 87km away from district headquarter Puri. As per 2009 stats, Bajrakot is the gram panchayat of Udayagiri village.


Shanti Stupa of Dhauligiri is also known as the Peace Pagda. Dhauligiri lies at a distance of 7 Km from Bhubaneswar


A scenic place of historic significance. Buddhist sculpture on a hillock. You can have a panoramic view of Bhubaneswar and the Daya river flowing nearby. People are quite friendly here and the best part is that they understand Hindi for sure, even though they may not always speak that. You will find a couple of shops selling stone materials or sculptures at affordable price. However, you need to be careful about the monkeys there, especially if you have kids. They do not harm unless one teases them someway or the other. I am sure you will enjoy the place as I did.
Nandankanan is the first zoo in the World to breed White tiger and Melanistic tiger. Nandankanan is the only conservation breeding centre of Indian Pangolins in the world. Nandankanan is the only zoological park in India to become an institutional member of World Association of Zoos and Aquarium (WAZA).
Nandankanan Zoological Park is a 437-hectare zoo and botanical garden in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. Established in 1960, it was opened to the public in 1979 and became the first zoo in India to join World Association of Zoos and Aquariums in 2009
