Linda's hair journey - Appointment 1 - Starter locs using Comb twist method.

The locking process has been obfuscated in Nigeria for a long time. My locs were started using the most ridiculous method about 7 years ago.A coffee and toothpaste mix which I was unaware of was put in my hair and a block of form was rubbed aggressively on my head for about 30mins. My pillows cases stained, my hair will take forever to dry, my hair was sticky. It was awkward and painful. I guess I really wanted locs to have stayed with that process.

Now 7 years later, I have run a loc studio for about two years and helped over a hundred people start their journey on a much clearer part.

Linda is one of them and she has graciously agreed to let me document her journey for a year. Her Journey started on the 26th of July, 2017 and that is when I made this video.
