Sorry for the delay but now I've finally managed to get this remix finished. However, this is more of a remaster (or cover) to me than a remix as I haven't been able to mashup any other songs with it and for that reason wasn't really impressed at the end (many people disagree with that though lol).

Overall, I didn't really feel like the song could be further improved rather than just adding some additional instruments and some improv piano. Also I couldn't find a good replacement for the muted guitar at the beginning (wanted to recreate it, not sample it)
