Pamugun - Francisco Feliciano

Pamugun is a famous choral piece by the late National Artist for Music, Francisco Feliciano. In the regional language of Maguindanao, this song tells a conversation between a sparrow and its hunter.

This number was part of UPSA's performance at the Monographic Category of the 66th International Choral Competition Polifonico Guido d'Arezzo in Arezzo, ITALY.

UPSA went on to win the first prize in Polifonico's Monographic Category, as well as the Secular, Sacred, and Mixed Choirs Categories. In 2018, UPSA won the Grand Prize of the Polifonico.

The University of the Philippines Singing Ambassadors is one of the country's foremost choral groups founded and conducted by Dr. Edgardo L. Manguiat.
