Chibitronics - 6 DIY Pressure Sensor Circuits

A quick look at 6 different ways to use pressure sensitive conductive plastic (aka: velostat or linqstat) in your circuits! In order they are:

1. Simple battery holder pressure sensor
Just place pressure sensor material between battery and the circuit

2. Flap pressure sensor
Use the pressure sensor material instead of copper tape to close the switch

3. Double sheet pressure sensor
Place one sheet above and one sheet below the battery. This makes it so you have to press slightly harder for the same brightness

4. Rainbow
LEDs light up the harder you press in order from red-orange-yellow then green then blue-pink-white. Just put them in the same parallel circuit.

5. Random pattern
Lights still come on in order of color but the random placement makes lights appear more in more random phases.

6. Bloom pattern
Place reds and yellows in the center and white/pink/blues in the outside ring. When you press, the lights create a bloom pattern from inside to out!
