SADA ROTI

Hello everyone, today we will show you a video on how to make Sada Roti.

In Trinidad many people have Sada roti for breakfast or for dinner and you can have it with a number of different dishes including, chokas, talkaries, or even butter or cheese. (If you listen to the song you will hear a number of suggestions lol)

The measurements as far as the water is concerned varies based on the temperature, your location, etc. so don't go all bonkers if its not exact. What you are really looking for is the consistency of the dough you see in the video.

You can even make about four of these at once and keep the unused ones in the refrigerator and use as needed (as I do).

If you don't have a Tawa you can use a cast iron pot or a frying pan, don't make excuses, just make the roti! ;)

There is a joke where older people would say don't get married unless the bride can get her roti to swell. In today's world I think that applies to both bride and groom ;) all I can say is... even if it doesn't happen the first time, just keep trying.

Ingredients (for 2 large or 3 small)

For the Filling
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1 cup (approximately)
