So during the DLC's post game, we go on a goose chase for Rayquaza, and our lead is to go after the other two of the Weather Trio to "envision reaching Rayquaza", so we get to it.

I started on Kyorge first, in an attempt to deal with Groudon easier with P Ky on my team. What a fool I was. Not using Fire types on the Water type, I was blissfully unaware that the Primal Abilities were active during the fight, at least when they weren't stunned. It put quite a damper on my strategy, but thankfully I managed to have SOME backup of a plan..

The Cave of Origin was fucking gorgeous by the way. I love how looking upwards reveals the other side, the other version, the other Cave of Origin. No matter what, these two will always be connected, always at odds, and always having the other on their mind. It's beautiful in a tragic sense.

In saying that, I think I enjoy Kyorge's side more. Nothing to do with the lava, I just find it more prettier, more mesmerizing. Sorry Grou, you're still my favorite of the two.

Team was swapped in accordance with dealing with Rouge Megas as we've always been doing, so the cast is full of new faces here.

The fight itself was really good? This is what the kid versions of us must have felt like coming up here decades ago. I was not ready to have to be on a constant move against Solar beams and Heat Waves, and I sure as hell wasn't ready for those Precipice Blade. Again, I love how getting the Orb has the Cave of Origin theme as its own reward theme.

All in all, this DLC and game fed the me who loved Pokémon due to Hoenn, and the older me who loved Megas and the Primals the most out of anything. It's great.

After this, It's now time to make Ansha's Wish come true. Let's go Snake hunting.
