Join us for a rejuvenating New Year's Day walk in beautiful Pacific Palisades! Relax with the ambient sounds of the wind blowing leaves, cars passing by, and ocean waves. You'll also hear our beautiful dog, Summer, trotting along with us!
This peaceful stroll leads us down Temescal Canyon Road, with views of the Pacific Ocean in the distance, to the Pacific Coast Highway and the Will Rogers State Beach.
Once we arrive at the beach, enjoy the sights and sounds of crashing waves, kite flying, and views up toward Malibu, and down to Santa Monica and to the Palos Verdes Peninsula in the distance.
Toward the end of the video [21:43] you can check out the impressive mural that runs along Temescal Canyon Road opposite the Palisades High School.

Pacific Palisades is a neighborhood within Los Angeles, north of Santa Monica and south of Malibu. It is quieter than some of the other beach communities, with a relaxed feel. It is, being on the west side of Los Angeles, a very wealthy area with many multi-million dollar homes. Unfortunately, no dogs are allowed on the beach, but there is a footpath alongside the sand. Depending on the day and time, this is a great, quiet beach if you want to refresh and recharge, or just relax, with the beauty of the Pacific Ocean.
