Unboxing and Collecting - Making A Button-Jointed Kitty Doll from Jenny Barnett - Art dollmaking

I really never thought of myself as a collector.... but I find that I am! My doll making journey has brought me to many other doll makers that I admire so much. Often, I find myself taking a tutorial from one artist or another, or making a kit with their patterns and instructions. These treasured experiences have added to both my doll collection and my doll making skill set!!!

This beautiful kit came from the very talented Jenny Barnett. I have admired her sculpted doll kits for a very long time, and have bought one for myself, as a winter treat, these last 5 years. I was so happy to put together and dress this lovely cat doll, and Calliope Kitty (aka - Callie Kat) was even happier to join the rest of the family when she was all gussied up in her Regency Period inspired day dress.
