There is a sandbar nearby that during high tide goes under about 6 feet of water. I thought it would be a fun challenge to gather up trash off the beach, build a structure, and survive for a day on the platform! The problem is that it's still winter here in Maine and at night it's getting below freezing. The platform we built is "fairly stable" but can it hold up to the rising ocean tide and surge? Can we make it 24 hours camping on this makeshift trash tower?
