Exploring the Abandoned Empire Mine (PART 6 - FINAL)

In the final part of the Empire Mine series, we explore some of the few remaining tunnels that we had yet to see. These sections of the mine had much more extensive timbering than rest of the mine. We see a few very nice ore chutes from both their inlets and outlets!

Hope you enjoyed the Empire Mine series, new videos are coming soon! This was one of my favorite all time mines to explore, and I've very happy I got it all on video. All in all, I spent 11 hours in this mine and walked around 10 miles total. We also gained 400 feet of elevation all whilst underground.

Believe it or not, this series shows only a fraction of this mine's workings. There are two additional winzes that connect to separate sets of workings. The main, "0-level" of the mine, is inaccessible; this level contains 3-4 miles of tunnel alone and connects to all three main winzes.
