Shirley Eikhard ‎– Self-Titled Debut (FULL ALBUM)

Sad news was spread this morning as it was found out that Canada's Shirley Eikhard had passed away, due to complications with cancer. She was at Headwaters Health Care Centre in Orangeville, Ontario.

Shirley leaves behind her a long and vital legacy; a collection of songs, albums and performances that have cozied themselves into the hearts and minds of Canadians, and music fans abroad. Rest in peace Shirley Eikhard.

It's time I did something I've been putting off for awhile. I'm sharing Shirley's 1972 debut album IN FULL, online, for the first time ever! It's a great collection of mostly original songs by the then 17 year old Eikhard.
