We Found The Holy Grail - Costa Pacifica Cruise Ship Vlog

Welcome to our third Costa Cruises, Costa Pacifica Cruise Ship Diaries Vlog.

This was our first time cruising with Costa Cruises, and we sailed on the Costa Pacifica around the Mediterranean and during our adventures, did we actually find the Holy Grail?

One of our ports on this Costa Pacifica Cruise was Valencia, where we had heard that the Valencia Cathedral actually houses the REAL Holy Grail, also known in Valencia as the Valencia Chalice.

With Wills thinking he is a real life Indiana Jones, we just had to go and see the Holy Grail for ourselves.

Although no one knows for sure if this is the REAL Holy Grail, it is certainly recognised by the church to be the real deal, and many popes over the years have drunk from this Holy Chalice.

Adventure seeking wasn't our only thing of note while visiting Valencia, we also took a look around the beautiful old town and took a look inside the famous indoor food market, or the, Mercat Central de Valencia as well as taking in many other sights and sound of this beautiful Spanish City.

The following day's port was Marseille is France.

We had never been to Marseille before, and it was never really on our, 'Places To Visit List', but after spending just a short time in this beautiful French city, we have vowed to definitely go back and visit Marseille again and stay for a few nights to really be able to see all of the sights.

You may be asking yourself, why, as a pair of British people, did we decide to cruise with Costa Cruises, which is an Italian ship?

We had read lots of reviews stating that Costa Cruises was the worst rated cruise ship line in Europe and that the Costa Pacifica was one of the worst rated ships in Europe, but did we think this was fair? We wanted to check it out for ourselves. Spoiler alert - we LOVED travelling with Costa Cruises onboard the Costa Pacifica.

In our first Costa Cruises, Costa Pacifica Vlog, we show the adventure in getting to Civitavecchia an boarding the Costa Pacifica, and our second day was stopping off in Golfo Aranci, Sardinia, where we took a train to our favourite place, Olbia, Sardinia.
We had to visit our favourite beach bar in the world, Rock & Beach at Mare e Rocce.

In our second Costa Cruises, Costa Pacifica Cruise Diaries Vlog, we enjoyed a day at sea onboard this beautiful ship and spent the day exploring Palma de Mallorca, where we visited the stunning Palma de Mallorca Cathedral.
