Versatile Leash & Collar for Outdoor Adventures with Big Dogs: Ray Allen Manufacturing (RAMCO) Gear

At long last, here's the video about the leashes and collars I use with my dogs when backpacking and also for daily use.

*Quick correction: the Black Diamond locking carabiner is actually rated at 24kN on the spine, which is close to 5000 force pounds. I said it was 8kN, which is the rating of the gate. Ideally, force would be applied to the spine, not on the gate. Either way, it's plenty strong enough.

Note: the collar I show at the end of the video while we're out on a walk is actually the Revolution Nylon Dog Collar (not the Elusive 2.0 collar). There are slight differences in addition to the Revolution not being able to accommodate an e-collar receiver. The collar I show earlier in the video is the Elusive 2.0 ID Collar which does accommodate an e-collar receiver.
