All The Greatest in BJJ, Wrestling & Judo Do This. . .

Описание к видео All The Greatest in BJJ, Wrestling & Judo Do This. . .

So, recently I posted a video where I was talking about the Meta in Jiu- Jitsu (Here:    • The Meta in BJJ Competitions isn't a ...  ) where I answered questions from a few younger guys at ADCC Trials.

A fella commented to the video (and I'm paraphrasing here):

"Hey, love the videos, been watching you for years. I think I have to slightly disagree on you with this one. I agree that being lean, fit, and strong will help you in Jiu-Jitsu and this can be taken for granted in all Martial Arts.

If we're looking to analyze trends in the technical game in modern Jiu-Jitsu, then that's a different question in general. I would argue that the technical meta in martial arts, including BJJ, is niche specialization. Becoming a master of lesser-known positions and force your opponents to play where they're really weak or inexperienced."

I totally agree with everything this viewer says. This has been an early Idea that I've been talking about forever, in regard to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

It's super important to have a narrowly focused area of Jiu-Jitsu, where you're extremely competent and maybe even master level at.

In this video I'll talk about how some of the best guys in Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, or Wrestling who get known for a set few techniques.

Anyways, I'll dive deep into the topic of specialization of this video and what I mean by "Meta" in this video.

Thanks for watching!
