For our FINAL day in the Lucerne region of Switzerland (and Switzerland in general!), we're heading outside of the city to do one of the most popular day trips in the area. We'll be doing the Golden Round Trip going up Pilatus. This is an all-in-1 trip that includes a boat, a cable car, a cog, and a tram. After the most beautiful boat ride, we made it to where we would board our cog. This is the steepest cog in the entire world - crazy! After making it to the top of Pilatus, we walked around, enjoyed the views, and hiked up a small but steep hill. The views after the climb are well worth it. After exploring the dragon cave (Pilatus is known as the Mountain of Dragons due to the myths behind the mountain), we headed back down on the tram and cable car. This is a really easy day trip from Lucerne that you can do yourself, but there's also guided tours to make it even easier!
