Scott is taking a prominent hockey idea and applying it to the Montreal Canadiens in the form of the Prospect Pyramid! Using the prospect list from the Habs EOTP Top 25 Under 25 he created a tier list of all the current Habs prospects and breaks down who lands where, right now.

Tier 1- Instant NHL Star Impact

Tier 2- Top Six F/Top Four D potential, soon to be an impact player

Tier 3- Top Nine F/Top Six D potential, should be an NHL regular

Tier 4- Depth pieces, bottom pairing D and bottom six F

Tier 5- Everybody else!

Where does the newly drafted Juraj Slafkovsky fit in? While the Habs don't have a Tier 1 prospect right now, who among the current group could turn into one in the near future? Scott also looks at whether or not having too many pieces in one tier is a bad thing, or if it makes the Canadiens far more likely to land high-end talent out of that group.

Scott breaks it all down, and discusses his methodology for placing prospects where he did. And just because they're in one tier right now, how they can easily rocket up the pyramid in the near future and what it would take it to do so.
