Husqvarna Riding Mower Review - Model YTH24V48

This is my review of a Husqvarna Riding Mower. Model number YTH24V48. Purchased from Lowes.

I held off on recording this review to insure that I had enough experience with the mower before sharing my experience. i also wanted to make sure that I didn't rate it based upon one or two emotional experiences I experienced with the product.

My last mower was a 46" Cub Cadet. I wanted to replace it since it kept breaking down.

Good Points: Smooth, quiet, fast, lots of power. Easy to fill gas tank location. Arm rest option. Great bagger with large capacity.

Bad Points: Many design and engineering problems! Poor quality control. Poor Husqvarna customer service!

The first Husqvarna mower I received from Lowes blew up in the driveway! Husqvarna was notified but immediately asked it I purchased an extended warranty. They wanted me to deliver the mower to an authorized repair center for up to 30 days for a resolution. Lowes was much easier to deal with and had a replacement delivered to me within a day.

Bad reverse peddle design. Too small and cheaply made. Comes into contact with the spindle cover when the deck is in the upper 3 positions.

Can't read the fuel level gauge since the plastic is completely opaque.

Engine cuts out when trying to go into reverse.

Bagger mout collects water.

Lots of crevices to collect debris.

Poor customer service representatives. They offer no help and do not call back when they say they will.

Sticky throttle after several uses.

Would not buy from Husqvanra again!
