Vehicles and roadside stalls were damaged, and immersion activities were halted temporarily. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has announced a 12-hour bandh on Monday. Former Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik strongly condemned the violence. So far, six people have been arrested as police review CCTV, drone footage, and eyewitness accounts. Authorities urge citizens to maintain peace and ensure festivals celebrate unity.
