Here is this weekend's message about how Jesus makes us go WOW!

TJ and Charissa do a fun science experiment and make Oobleck! But as cool as this experiment is, it's nothing compared to the miracles of Jesus, like the miracle of Him walking on water!

** DO THIS FUN SCIENCE EXPERIMENT AT HOME - INSTRUCTIONS BELOW **

MAKE SURE AN ADULT IS PRESENT DURING THE EXPERIMENT

SUPPLIES:

Bowl/dish
Corn starch
Water
Wooden spoon (or stirring utensil)
Food coloring (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS:

For a small batch of oobleck, start out with 2 cups of starch and 1 cup of water. Get your bowl and add 2 cups of corn starch and your 1 cup of water. Stir and add food coloring if you want it to be a fun color!

If you find the mixture is a little too watery and not forming into a solid when you pull the oobleck out of your bowl, then add more cornstarch. If you find the mixture is not dripping like a liquid, add a little more water. Keep experimenting/fine tuning until you get a good consistency. (The mixture should feel a bit solid when you try to put your hand in, but drips like liquid when you pull your hand out.

To make even more oobleck, add more starch and water, just make sure that for every 2 parts of corn starch you use, you use 1 part water.

If you want to test out if things float on the oobleck like the video, find things around the house that you can place in the oobleck (make sure it’s things you don’t mind cleaning afterwards)
