In this analog Drum Machine face-off, we have the Akai Tom Cat against the big news new comer; the Arturia Drumbrute. Peak levels have been matched with appropriate room for gain during tweaking of the drum parameters. The Tomcat will play a pattern for one bar then the Drumbrute will play the same pattern for one bar and repeat as I tweak parameters to give you a fair representation of the range of sound passible by each drum machine. I cannot cover every aspect of each due to time and inconsistencies in the different drum machines.
