Only took me nearly a minute to disable the check using an Action Replay in FS-UAE. The answers are unencrypted in memory, so all you have to do is find the opcodes that use the address containing the answer. $015F7C has the code that you need to look up in the manual, and $015F80 is the key that it expects.
