Each Airblast Blast Room is designed by our engineering department to fit the unique requirements of each customer. All components are tested and assembled prior to delivery to ensure that the blast room can be erected and operational in the shortest time-frame.

The blue dots represent the clean air flow entering the blast room at the correct velocity and direction to extract the air bourn dust, shown here by red dots. The dusty air flows into the cartridge filters where the dust remains on the outside before being deposited in a collection bin, and the clean air is directed up and into the ducting. A percentage of the cleaned air is vented to atmosphere to create an “under pressure environment”, with the remainder being returned into the blast room where the cycle begins again. The recycling of the cleaned air is especially important in colder regions to avoid temperature changes and in climate controlled blast rooms.

The Airblast range of semi and fully-automatic abrasive recovery systems ensure that our customers achieve the lowest cost per square meter. Airblast scraper floors utilize our patented blade design combined with a cross conveyor to provide reliable abrasive recovery. The abrasive is then elevated and deposited in the recycling system to be cleaned for reuse. For blast rooms which utilize both metallic and non-metallic abrasive we specify a magnetic separator after which the abrasive is deposited into a double silo which feeds the blast pots.

No matter what substrate you have to blast rest assured that an Airblast blast room will provide years of reliable, cost efficient performance. We look forward to designing your blast room!
