The beginning is Ichigo (the text under the line) & is repeating Rukia's words (above line) to his father. I found that really touching considering that he remembered her words and even said it made him feel better. Plus, even the dad remembers that day. He had to spy on his son and his future daughter in law you know? :3
I wanted to show the deep bond they have with each other so I tried not to use filler scenes. I'm sorry I just had to use the 'ice skating' one because that was just too beautiful not to.
