OSL Tips: How to Test Your OSL Ideas Before Painting

Описание к видео OSL Tips: How to Test Your OSL Ideas Before Painting

I made this for a Technique Tuesday mod post in the Dungeons and Dragons Miniatures Painting group on Facebook. It's just a few tips on how to test out OSL ideas before actually painting anything. You can do this on painted or unpainted miniatures, it doesn't matter!

Update: I'm a nervous idiot behind the camera, and failed to mention that the size of the light source matters. Chris Spotts (@thespottedpainter) brought up a good point: a small LED keychain is a better choice for a light source than the phone. Using a phone is decent if you want to see the color of the light on the model, but unless your light source is of comparable size to the phone, it's going to be overkill. Keep the size of the light source in mind, and if possible, use a smaller light source to test it out. I had nothing available other than a few phones, so that's what I used :-) Happy painting!
