The members of the 78th Highlanders in the video were part of a living history program at the Halifax Citadel National Historic site (https://www.pc.gc.ca/en/lhn-nhs/ns/ha...) in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada (https://www.halifax.ca/). The people working for the Halifax Citadel Society (then the Friends of the Halifax Citadel, later the Halifax Citadel Regimental Association) were high school, trades school or university students. They were hired for summer employment in order to interact with the visiting public. Living history has been a part of the Halifax Citadel experience since the mid 1980s. The program continues to employ students for the summer.
