Meghan Markle has raised eyebrows following her latest product launch for her lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard.

Ms Markle on Saturday revealed that she was working on a new line of dog treats as well as a new jam for her lifestyle brand. just hours before the Trooping the Colour Parade.

The Daily Mirror Royal Editor Russell Myers criticised the surprise announcement.

“The announcement was a bit of poor timing I think, because it was just coinciding with the King's birthday,” Mr Myers said.

“Meghan is trying to launch this business while piggybacking on sort of the PR of the royal family.”
