In 1970 Norm Beechey built one of the toughest Australian muscle cars to go out and win the Australian touring car Championship. His HT GTS 350 Monaro was a home built "special" that beat the best the world had on offer: the Mustangs of Allan Moffat, Pete Geoghegan and Bob Jane, Porsche 911ST's of Jim Mckeown, Brian Foley and Bill Brown and the list goes on.. enjoy this short clip from Lakeside 1970's championship decieding race.
