Palestinian Students Mark 76th Nakba Anniversary at UK University encampments for Gaza

Middle East Eye's Mohammad Saleh asks Palestinian students how they feel about marking the 76th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba at their university's Gaza solidarity encampments.

Every year on 15 May Palestinians mark the Nakba, "catastrophe" in English, when around 750,000 Palestinians were forcibly expelled from their homes by Zionist militias to make way for the creation of Israel in 1948.

Student encampments for Gaza have continued to spread across UK universities, following a wave of 'Gaza solidarity encampments' that swept across the US and gained widespread attention and support.
