Worst Olympic Venue Development Fails

Abandoned and underutilized Olympic venues have been a major problem in the past contributing to blight and financial problems for the host countries and cities. The games require massive infrastructure investment for a 2 week event. Often times thought is only given to the games themselves, not what will happen after they end. New approaches have been taken in recent years to try to prevent this from occurring... there have been some successes and some failures, but in general it looks like the problem is slowly getting better.
