'WET DEVIL': a record of 'Wet Devil' being painted to live music.

Following Rhythm And Paint’s triumphant performance at the Hackney Wicked Festival 2010, they were invited to East Barnet Village Library to deliver workshops that would encourage public participation in art and music’s creative synergy. Joined by a percussive circle and guitarists, Jonas (drums) and Graham (paint) performed to camera. ‘Wet Devil’ is the finished painting from the afternoon’s workshop/performance.

The footage shows the two of them doing their respective practices in the sunshine with a breeze blowing, then quickly removing the canvas from the wall as heavy rain stopped play! Graham rolled up his wet painting, placed it under an outdoor stone staircase, and collected it the next day. To our delight the painting was in good condition, so he stretched it onto a frame and signed it finished.
