Baby formula shortage in US becoming crisis for parents

Supply chain slowdowns and product recalls are creating a crisis for parents across the U.S. as they struggle to find baby formula.

Across America, store shelves selling the product are going bare, with about 45 per cent in the country out of stock due to a key producer, Abbott Nutrition, recalling several brands and closing its Michigan plant.

U.S. President Joe Biden is demanding manufacturers immediately increase production, but as Jennifer Johnson reports, doctors are warning even a temporary shortage could have long-term consequences.
