Off-road Trails: Grapevine, Skyline, Clarks Grade in Southern California in a Subaru Outback

Off-roading in my 2011 Subaru Outback with Mtnroo San Diego in the San Bernardino Mountains (near Big Bear) in Southern California with my two boys in Sept 2017.

Started near Lucerne Valley on the Grapevine Canyon Road Trail (4N16). That turned into Coxey Road, then Rim of the World Drive near Big Bear Lake. Then we took North Shore Drive, and then Stanfield Cutoff to go across the lake, then Big Bear Blvd, and then Moonridge Way to Club View Drive which took us to our next trail - Skyline Drive. Took that to Clarks Grade and then Steven Oaks Road which took us to Hwy 38. Grapevine's only challenge is the cliff next to the road in a couple places. Skyline is very easy, and Clarks Grade has cliffs but also some tricky places. Its steep in some areas but going down made it easy. Any car with at least 8.7" of clearance should be fine.
