The staff of The Sound will be no longer on the air at 100.3 FM within a few weeks. The Sound will evolve into a satellite delivery service for Educational Media Foundation (EMF), which plans to play syndicated contemporary Christian music.

Says EMF CEO Mike Novak: “We are particularly excited to see what God has in store for the people of Los Angeles, through our new station, Positive & Encouraging K-LOVE at 100.3 FM. The people at Entercom have been a joy making this purchase possible.”

There already is a K-LOVE at 107.5 FM; I doubt owner Univision will appreciate another.

In my opinion, the FCC or the Justice Department should have stopped this merger with CBS long ago."
