This is a short tutorial to get you started with AltTester Unity SDK and show you how to create your first automated test for Unity.

The tutorial walks you through the following steps:
Import AltTester Unity SDK from our website (with an overall walkthrough of the AltTester Editor and showing where to configure the build setting, creating test builds for different platforms, set up port forwarding to be able to run tests on Android)
Run the game instrumented with AltTester Unity SDK in the Unity Editor
Create and run the first test in C#

*About AltTester Unity SDK *

AltTester Unity SDK is an open-source asset downloadable from Altom's website.

By instrumenting your app with AltTester Unity SDK, you will get access to all the Unity objects from your app, and it will enable you to write and execute tests in C#, Python, or Java. You can use any popular test framework like XUnit or nUnit to run your tests, integrate it with device cloud services, and include the test project in your CI environment.

You can run tests within the Unity Editor or create a mobile, standalone, or console build, depending on which platform you’d like to run the tests.
