Converting my 2001 Toyota Tacoma truck frame from rusty to a salt water warrior. If metal is exposed to air/ water and other elements, it will rust. Creating a barrier will prevent rust from occurring and stop rust that is already there. First, I used a few rust removing tools to get rid of as much rust as possible. I then used a degreaser to get any other grit and grime off the frame. Then I power washed the frame. I used RUST KUTTER to transform the rust (literally a chemical reaction occurring) and leaving the metal with a paintable surface. I used rust reformer paint then to coat the frame. I went over everything using Surface Shield to assure no more rust! My truck is now ready for the harsh roads in the salt belt.
