‘Realising India’ Field Immersion | PLC (Professional Learning Community)-9

The ninth group of the #youngchangemakers headed to Sehore, Madhya Pradesh on a 14-day journey of understanding people’s lived experiences, developmental challenges and their underlying causes, opportunities and good practices that make a difference to people’s lives in the district, supported by Samarthan in Participatory Action.

At ISDM, we place an equal focus not only on the theory and insights from industry experts, but also on hands-on learning experiences.

In the most exciting phase of the program ‘Realising India’ Field Immersion, students get a first-hand experience of the on-ground realities of rural India.This helps them develop a better understanding of the social, cultural, and political ecosystem in which they will work and eventually create and lead #socialimpact.

The Post-Graduate Program in Development Management is the only 11-month program in Development Management globally, that blends ideas of development with management theories, combining in-class sessions with collaborative group work and a field component. The Program aims to develop a cadre of Social Sector Professionals who can design interventions, and build, lead and manage organizations for sustainable social impact at scale.
