RIL Q2FY24: Reported Highest-Ever Operating Profit | ET Now

Reliance Industries’ Q2FY24 earnings were largely in line with street estimates with EBITDA coming in at an all-time high. On a sequential basis, all the key segments reported growth – the highest was seen by the gas exploration segment, while the lowest was reported by the telecom segment. The rise in gas exploration EBITDA was owing to higher sales volume and higher gas prices. Retail segment growth was aided by store expansion and higher footfalls. O2C segment growth was aided by higher gross refining margins.
Reliance Jio – the telecom arm of RIL – witnessed a 4% growth in profits owing to high subscriber additions. The company added 11.2 million subscribers in Q2 – the highest in the last nine quarters. We are Mayuresh Joshi & Sushil Choksey join us to share this views.
