Kindly Pray & Prophesy in the Name of LORD JESUS CHRIST For Pricing Regulatory should be implemented in 100% of all the drug formulations in India and Importing drugs and cost based pricing mechanism should be calculated and unreasonable high trade margins profits of pharmaceutical companies, stockist and retailers should be eliminated and NPPA ( National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority) Should implement this before by 2020.


( The Largest share of out of pocket expenditure on health issue to medicines approximately 70% according to NSSO. Due to prevalent inequalities, out of pocket expenditure on medicines pushing families beyond poverty threshold in our country. For example OOP expenditure on cancer hospitalisation is about 2.5 times of overall average hospitalisation expenditure. For regulate this Drug Price Control Order DPCO 2013 formed .

DPCO controls the prices of all essential medicines by fixing ceiling pricing.Through this efforts NLEM( National List of Essential Medicines) 2015 contains 376 medicines on the basis of which the NPPA has fixed prices of over 800 formulations using the provisions of the DPCO. However these formulations cover less than 10% of total pharmaceutical market.Also Presently DPCO follows a market based pricing mechanism.This is based on simple average price of all brands having Atleast 1% market share of the total market turnover of that medicine. This calculations is not good for to decide pricing for medicines. Indian government should (NPPA) should follow cost based pricing mechanism which is how much actual cost involved in a manufacturing in a medicine along with reasonable profit margins. Last year in our country 8 Lakhs people died due to cancer. In such a situation Health Ministry should intervene to regulate and reduce all the drugs in India
