Hi, my name is Katie, known as myhitlife.
Thank you again for your support on my A Day in the Life of a SAP Consultant vlog! I truly appreciate it. Following on from one of the questions asked, "After being told by people SAP is dying. What is your opinion? Also, what is a career in SAP a good long term choice? In this vlog, I answer those questions. It all depends as well your reasons for getting into SAP and who are you talking to as well. SAP is certainly not dying! If anything, it's growing more than ever at a rapid pace, but if requires Consultants more than ever now to update their skill sets. Contracts daily rates are less because there are a lot more Consultants in the market. However, if you stay ahead of the curve with the latest S/4 HANA projects on your CV you will still maintain an awesome daily rate. Short answer - SAP is not dying. Yes, it is, but you have to be adaptable with the technology!

Please note I do not work for SAP. I am a SAP Consultant for a Consultancy firm which implements SAP technology. I thought I would simply share this helpful information for those of you not within the SAP space looking for some answers. Again all questions are welcomed.

I'm an IT Consultant who now lives in hotels 3-4 days a week from August 2018. Beforehand I was hotel living 4-5 days a week. I have not only maintained my fitness journey... I've gotten more fit. I've been hotel living since Sept 2017 and vlogging my journey since June 2018. Everyday to hold myself accountable on social media I post 3 times a day on each platform. I share all my knowledge and I'm extremely authentic. I even go live every day on IG and Facebook.
