Описание к видео Ninh Binh in Rainy Season: typhoon, pagodas & my favourite Vietnam Adventure

Is it worth visiting Ninh Binh in Vietnam during rainy season?
In this Vietnam Travel Guide, I'll show you everything we did over 3 days exploring Tam Coc and Trang An during typhoon season, including the best attractions, boat tours, cycling tips, and viewpoints in this stunning region of Northern Vietnam. Despite the Ninh Binh weather in September and October (and the 2 menty-b's I had while I was there lol), this remains my favourite adventure in Northern Vietnam!
Here's why you should visit Ninh Binh, and why you should stay longer than a day trip.

🕒 TIMESTAMPS:
00:00 Intro
00:26 Where is Ninh Binh, Tam Coc, and Trang An
01:14 Day 1: The Journey to Ninh Binh during rainy season
01:25 Arrival in Tam Coc during a typhoon
01:58 Day 2: Exploring Ninh Binh and Trang An
02:04 The Bai Dinh Pagoda
04:07 Boat Tours in Ninh Binh: Tam Coc and Trang An
05:25 Day 3: Bike rental in Tam Coc, cycling in Ninh Binh
06:45 Bich Dong Pagoda, The Green Pearl Cave Temple
08:00 The Buffalo Cave (Should You Skip It?)
10:41 Climbing The Lying Dragon Mountain, Hang Mua

🚗 HOW TO GET TO NINH BINH:
From Hanoi: ~100km south (2-2.5 hours)
Private driver: recommended option.
Train: Available from Hanoi station
Day tour buses: Depart from Hanoi Old Quarter.
We stayed in Tam Coc town for easy access to attractions, at La Sen Village Hotel.

⏰ HOW LONG TO VISIT NINH BINH:
Most travellers do a day trip from Hanoi, but I recommend 3-5 days to explore without rushing. We stayed 3 days (2 full days of exploring) and it was perfect for experiencing the peaceful atmosphere.

📍 PLACES FEATURED:
Bai Dinh Pagoda - Vietnam's largest Buddhist complex
Trang An Boat Tour - UNESCO World Heritage Site
Bich Dong Pagoda - Ancient cave temple
The Buffalo Cave - potential tourist trap?
Lying Dragon Mountain - Best viewpoint in Ninh Binh
Tam Coc area - Rice fields and cycling routes

🌧️ VISITING DURING RAINY SEASON:
We visited in September/October (low season) which meant fewer crowds but occasional typhoons. The weather was unpredictable, but the peaceful atmosphere made it worth it.

✨ BEST FOR:
Budget travellers (most attractions under £10)
Slow Travel enthusiasts
Nature and Landscape Photography lovers
Travellers seeking a place to rest and wind down near Hanoi
Anyone who loves pagodas, caves, and dramatic landscapes
Neurodivergent travellers who struggle with crowds (like me!)
