edit: I won’t hold this against the company because if this were not a good product there would be nothing to work with. I have noticed that the weight of the full bowl will cause the nut to lose tension and the bowl will drop. To avoid “droop” add a lock washer and depending on the strength of your kennel, you may need to use a small wedge as well. Once the bowl droops, filling the bowl leads to more spills.

I have bought many bowls for my dogs kennels. First there was puppy size, then a middle size (not quite sure why now, but the big ones seemed way too big next to the puppy ones), and then finally the adult bowls…of course not all bowls are made alike. I bought one set that though “chromed” it seating rusting within months. Then I got the better chrome/stainless bowls and the dogs bent them with their paw. I finally found strong bowls and true stainless, but after 3 years they needed refreshing.
