Hello my friends and Welcome to the Hawthorn Hedge!
This is the place for finding your inner joy through connecting with nature. I believe this will improve the relationship you have with yourself, support wellness and tap into your artistic expression. These are many branches of one therapeutic tree that we will discuss in the days ahead.

But just as a brief overview, Forest Therapy: is a practice of providing opportunities for sensory connection through immersive experiences in nature. I am a certified Forest Therapy Guide. We will talk much more about this, so stay tuned. I will even make a sample video of forest therapy, so you can see for yourself, just what the fuss is all about.

Another branch of the tree is creative expression. Connecting with their inner selves allows us to tap into our natural creative abilities, enhancing the joy in our everyday lives.

And finally the therapeutic feeling of interconnectedness that we feel when we are able to form a good relationship with ourselves and others, which leads to stronger healthy communities. So lots to discuss in the days ahead!

You might be wondering why the name The Hawthorn Hedge?
Each spring the hawthorn is covered in beautiful white blooms which is beneficial to the native bees, then bears bright red fruits. And finally the tree has been planted into hedge rows to serve as a living fence, making a protective hedgerow with ferocious spikes. In mythology, the Hawthorn is associated with spring celebrations of love and protection, and its considered forbidden to harm or to cut down a Hawthorn.
