Dassault Rafale vs F 16

This is a tactical demonstration (dogfight) between a Dassault Rafale and an F-16 Fighting Falcon of the Hellenic (Greek) Air Force.

Delta wing (Mirage 2000, Rafale) gives the fighter a high angle of attack. Vortexes are generated and that causes a delay in separation and stall. That means that it is more stable at low speeds. It is also more stable during transonic and supersonic speeds due to the shock cone behind its edge.

Dassault Rafale was selected for purchase by the Egyptian Air Force, the Indian Air Force, the Hellenic Air Force, Qatar Air Force, the Croatian Air Force, the Indonesian Air Force and the United Arab Emirates Air Force.
