"Eighth Wonder of the World?" MILFORD SOUND cruise but is it WORTH IT? and a SECRET TUNNEL

After and amazing trip on DOUBTFUL SOUND was it worth going to Milford Sound?
Frequently referred to as the "Eighth Wonder of the World" due to its Towering cliffs with 100's of waterfalls it's easy to see why it has gained such a great reputation.

The Milford Road, State Highway 94 is the 74 mile section of road running from Te Anau to Milford Sound, on its route there are many great nature attractions, we choose the 3 Hour hike to Lake Marian and the much easier Mirror Lakes view.

After our very busy day we overnight on the Cascade DOC site and then head off to Dunedin on the East Coast where we have great fish and chips and walk down to a secret tunnel on Tunnel Beach. We end this leg of our Tour with a drive over to the Royal Albatross Centre.
