Episode Notes:

1. Although Streets of Rage 1 here was nowhere near as good looking as the later two games, I always appreciated the sheer number of enemies on screen at once.

2. As good as SoR2's soundtrack was, I still consider the first to be a tad better.

3. I thought it funny that they wouldn't let you use the nuke attack on the final stage in the penthouse, but would on the boat stage. Did the cop car follow you onto the boat?

4. Althought Axel was my favorite in part 2 and 3, Adam was my favorite here. I preferred his jump kick and his standard combo.

5. Both the US and Japanese versions came out on top of each other, separated by mere weeks.

6. This game is available a number of ways. It was in a few compilation carts such as the 6 Pak, as well as a Sega CD version on the Sega Classic Collection. The Sega CD has improved sound effects.
