3ONE6 Stainless Steel Double Edge Safety Razor By Edwin Jagger | Daily Shave

Today's review focused on the new 3ONE6 Edwin Jagger Safety Razor. It's gorgeous. The shave is very efficient. This razor accomplishes the efficiency of an aggressive razor without the uncomfortable blade feel of them. This is half a step down of a Charcoal level 2 or a Timeless 95. This all stainless steel model was the nicest to my eyes when I saw the line-up. I am a sucker for the look of all stainless steel razors.

Here are a few words from EJ about the razor itself.

The 3ONE6 Handles made of 316 Grade Stainless Steel forged in Sheffield. The DE head comprises two components, each produced using the latest MIM technology (Metal Injection Molding). With specific machining processes used, Edwin Jagger believes the thread cannot be snapped off or bent given the method of manufacture and construction of the top plate.

The anodized middle sections of the Edwin Jagger 3ONE6 DE safety razor handles are manufactured from aerospace grade aluminum. The grade of aluminum used for the 3ONE6 range of colored handles has also been selected for its anodizing capabilities and the quality surface finish after anodizing. The anodizing process creates a surface finish that will resist day to day handling and offers a variety of colors.

The handle components and the two part safety razor head components are subjected to a series of finishing processes consisting of hand polishing and two automated preparation processes before chemical surface enhancement. The combination of hand and semi-automated surface preparation processes and final finishing processes ensure consistent texture, luster/shine and presentation of all components. The same processes are commonly used during the manufacture of medical equipment.
