Der Geher in Hamburg: Altona-Altstadt, Fischmarkt

I am Der Geher and there is a work of art to visit. Otto Waalkes shows pictures at the Cruise Center Altona. The way there leads from the fish auction hall along the river Elbe. A few detours to the Altona balcony, a few impressions of the Holzmarkt and the fish market with all the restaurants in the area. The final stop is Dockland. A building with views from the roof.

Leon Löwentraut's Global Gate of 37 overseas containers can be seen at the Cruise Center Altona. The containers are set up in the style of the Brandenburg Gate and hung with works of art history that Otto Walkes has redesigned. In the works Otto has hidden himself as well as Ottifanten. The 24x21x6 m construction can be visited until mid-November 2023. After that, the banners will be sold in pieces and the work will be rebuilt in Vienna or Washington.
