This shows a relatively easy way to kill the Thargoids. Not much skill is required - just point and shoot mainly. The method is based on having the right ship (strong ship) and weapons, and using it in the right place counts a lot more than the actual combat technique.
I subsequently tried the Anaconda, and it's just like I though. The guns are more accurate, but it's not quite as strong. Overall, it kills in about the same time, though is definitely better at getting the Scouts.

Don't forget not to go to a planet where gravity is more than 0.5g
