Make your own high protein “meat” (seitan) for less than $2/pound! Yay! This recipe has literally changed our lives because it’s super easy and cheap. We use this Basic Seitan for tons of dishes – curry, teriyaki, sweet and sour, etc.

YOU CAN FREEZE AND SAVE FOR LATER TOO! We normally make a big batch of seitan, cut into pieces and then freeze what we don't need for the day. Just thaw it out as needed. The texture will be perfect. We recently made 5 different meals from one batch of seitan that we had frozen for over 3 weeks.

For Meatless Monday Week 2, Kamaal and I are making seitan BBQ style! :-)
